Read about the developments in WASPI's Judicial Review case. The Government has made significant concessions 'at the steps of the Court' as today's hearing is cancelled.

Legal Update - 2 December 2025 - Women Against State Pension Inequality
Government agrees to WASPI’s conditions for speedy and thorough reconsideration of the response to Ombudsman injustice findings and compensation proposals Leading campaigning organisation WASPI has been pursuing a judicial review challenge to a decision made last December to reject the Parliamentary Ombudsman’s second report on DWP maladministration. The pensions minister responsible, Liz Kendall, claimed that […]

Yes, especially when you consider #PrivatisationUK #NHS plus number of freeports, SEZ's scattered throughout UK & Contracts drawn up between UK, USA etc. So called #Sovereignty benefits who precisely? Considering treatment of WASPI's & Post Office employees & others not British workers/taxpayers

Childish and foolish I am not! My patience has been eroded by misstep after misstep, mistake after mistake. As a Waspi who has a very small private pension, the removal of the WFA, the refusal to pay compensation to Waspi's and the frantic U-turns means I have no confidence in this Labour govt.

1. People don't pay for their own benefits.

2. Benefits' terms can change at any time. This isn't a secret, eg the state pension was cut in 1980 (earnings link removed) to save money for WASPI's generation, back when they were paying for the wartime generation's state pensions.

If you're wondering about the "new evidence" the Pension's Secretary was talking about in his Statement yesterday you can hear #WASPI's Campaign Manager Jane Cowley explaining it to Nick Ferrari this morning on LBC #NickFerrari #LBC #WASPIWomen #WASPI https://ow.ly/W47a50XqnxL

I knew in the 90s way before I started my own pension that the male/female pension ages were being equalised.

It’s tone fucking deaf for people who had so much from the state to demand more when their grandkids generation will never see a fraction, but will still pay for the waspi’s “compensation”

The General Election in Scotland: Partying & Boasting to Celebrate Labours Decision to Pay The WASPI Women… Almost at Election Day! Sarwar & J Baillie were on the News Smiling Congratulating Labour with The WASPI’s voting Labour!? This is a re-run again for ‘New Evidence” =Scottish Election Votes!!

I'm glad to have contributed to WASPI's campaign for justice, both locally and in Parliament.

Going forward, the Government's review must progress without delay, and any subsequent action must be swift.

WASPI women must be given their rightful compensation as soon as this is made possible.
November 11, 2025 at 5:21 PM
Whilst I can convince myself I don't mind paying extra tax for the variety of things that need fixing in government. Giving a free handout to Waspi's is a line in the sand!
…I give up. I absolutely give up.
November 11, 2025 at 5:21 PM
Following reports in the media that Ministers will be announcing compensation for WASPI women today, we await with bated breath. WASPI's calls for compensation are backed by hundreds of MPs, alongside an overwhelming majority of the public.

Any statement will take place after 15.30 in the Commons.

Aye, those that also believed that by voting for Starmers labour the WASPI's would get restitution, Grangemouth would be saved & GB Energy would bring 70,000 jobs to Scotland.
If only we had a Scottish Media instead of a media in Scotland here to inform the electorate.

Sarwar promised to get recompense for the WASPI's.
Sarwar promised to save Grangemouth.
Sarwar promised 70,000 Scottish jobs through GB Energy.
Sarwar is a london owned two faced lying duplicitous cunt.
Vote wisely next May.

And WASPI's.
September 29, 2025 at 2:09 PM
Don't worry, Kevin, that just means we've got 69,987 jobs still to come, once Sarwar has saved Grangemouth & sorted out the restitution for the WASPI's that he promised to do during the election campaign.
September 20, 2025 at 4:59 PM
Sarwar promised us 70,000 jobs for Scotland, right before the election where he said he'd save Grangemouth & give restitution to the WASPI's.

EXCLUSIVE: In his Daily Record column, the Scottish Labour leader said starting GB Energy and heating cold homes would create tens of thousands of jobs.

My wife is involved with MAA, they had a public enquiry setting out recommendations Labour promised to implement once they got in power, same situation, plus many other groups Labour made promises to Orgeave, WASPI's and Hillsborough, it's almost as if they can't be trusted.
July 29, 2025 at 9:42 AM
So the wealthy Waspi’s should be compensating the young people in mountains of debt through no fault of their own. Right?
July 25, 2025 at 10:53 PM
CCOs are appropriate only where there is an important point of law that needs to be resolved, where the claimant would not be able to raise the funds and have to withdraw. None of that applies here, as is demonstrated by the recent increase in Crowdfunding donations and Waspi's own resources.
June 11, 2025 at 2:51 PM
WASPI's judicial review is a vital step in holding the Government accountable for ignoring the ombudsman's call for compensation. Angela Madden warns, "The Government's decision is formed on baseless claims."
June 6, 2025 at 11:53 AM
The best indication of the level of support for a £10.5 billion compensation scheme is Waspi's own petition running these last 5 months. Here are the numbers for the Solent constituencies (today): Gosport 288, Hamble Valley 267, Havant 252, Portsmouth North 273, Portsmouth South 229.

They backed the Waspi's by abstaining?
Energy bills have went up?
