As I get more into the Warhammer 40k verse the more confused I get by the number of facists who enjoy it. But then again, I suppose that there must have been some idiots that thought "A Modest Proposal" was a great idea but it's crazy to watch it in action. The writers were not subtle.

So…in fairness it turns out Abnett’s Warhammer 40K books are compelling as hell, so this is apparently a thing I read now, serves me right for snarking about it.
Gotta say, as a human who mostly knows Dan Abnett for writing the gayest possible Hercules comic, the genuine reverence of Warhammer YouTubers talking about his ultra-grimdark war novels is delightful. We love a king with range.

I am a lore fiend. It's why im a fan of the world of darkness and warhammer 40k.
This is how I feel as well. Though I am also very autistic so I feel as Though I am a little bit of a outlier.
I get the issue, but also like... I think for a lot of people (Certainly me!) a lot of the fun of comics is the huge history of it. It feels mysterious and huge and complex and wonderful, in the same way I feel about, say Warhammer 40k. The complexity and weirdness can be an attraction to people!

so far my favorite cosplays have been a girl cosplaying the titular pearl (from the movie!) and two warhammer 40k cosplayers who wore these incredible articulated armor pieces and stilts. AMAZING craftsmanship.

I did A LOT of reading in 2025. 📖 Brandon Sanderson took most of my time, but I also dabbled in the Warhammer 40K Black Library. Very satisfying to see all that I accomplished this year in reading, and I'm excited for even more in 2026!

Ad Mech, Eldar and Sisters defined some nerfs. Ad Mech and Sisters probably work fine with just points but not sure how to fix Eldar, maybe tone down their army rule a little and do a few points tweaks?

I was working on two different takes on martial arts recently.
One in the Warhammer 40K 'verse which features Space Marine combat (to me is as dull as toast).
I wanted to feature an Inquisitor retinue which has to fight differently.
The other was a wuxia story, which started well.
