At home!!! All of my art is either self taught, based on stuff I learned in HS 20 years ago, or something I took a class in once at a community center. I got a set of gouache paint for Xmas a few years ago but didn't even realize that they were different than watercolors!!

I don't know much about Gouache, it's an art medium isn't it?

I love the final battle vibes, and the necrotic/ diseased green, feels like a heroic last stand from an underdog vs the diseased future, (well that's what came to my mind personally). That green is such a great choice.

#fossilfriday New fossil art - watercolor/gouache illustration of the earbone (bulla) of Herpetocetus bramblei from the latest Miocene Purisima Formation, Santa Cruz, CA. This bulla is associated with a partial skull (UCMP 219111) which I discovered in 2007. 3x5", ~4 hours.
