Katy Dycus and I spoke about the Prokhaskos’ WHO WILL MAKE THE SNOW? some months ago. This winter, as Russia relentlessly bombards cities and energy stations, plunging Ukraine into freezing darkness, the book feels more necessary than ever. @jenniferlcroft.bsky.social worldkidlit.org/2026/01/12/i...

Revelator by Daryl Gregory is #SouthernGothic #Horror at its finest. The historical time period made the isolation of Appalachia real. Weird and unsettling in all the best ways. #BookSky 💙📚

This is not a spoiler. But I am bummed out that the new Luna Snow book is just a one-shot. She deserves an ongoing.

One New Years Eve while in grad school I was unable to drive back home because of a blizzard and spent the holiday in a crappy little apartment reading The Shining. The heavy snow falling outside led me to stay up all night to finish the book because I was too scared to stop and go to sleep.

What excuse do you need to read a book? I'm spending my evening with Gladys Mitchell and 'Death Comes at Christmas'. This will then be followed up with Gladys Mitchell's 'Murder in the Snow'. I just wish we had more❄️

Exmoor is a world renowned hub for #biotech and engineering companies. As such we feel responsible for inspiring the next generation of scientists and engineers. We loved building spaghetti towers, extracting strawberry DNA and hosting mock interviews in 2025. What’s your favourite #STEM activity? 🧪

Avalanche by Simon Fox is an action-packed winter adventure for kids who love edge-of-your-seat stories, and cinematic tension.

A high-impact read, this wintery thriller balances excitement with emotional depth, making it a strong choice for classrooms and reading at home.

I remain extremely proud of it and so glad that story hit me in the face for the first time about six years ago this month (I started it Jan 2020 and released it that December). CW for domestic violence but it's a very cathartic read and you can get it here: www.skyladawncameron.com/books/the-si...

I love this book so [expletive deleted] much. I recommended it to my friend [Blank], who also enjoyed it very much. It's one of @adamroberts.bsky.social's best novels.

Popping my head out of the writing cave to say hello 👋
I’ve been a bit quiet on creating while I’ve had my head buried in my book, but the snow has finally melted, the kettle’s on, and the day carries on.
Thought it was the perfect moment to share a bit of Scottish pride instead.
