I will always have this "what if" senario of working in animation. I did take a cell painting test at Jumbo pictures (Doug). I failed. It was a hard test. White on white cell painting. I am glad i took and failed. I know i couldnt do traditional animation (cell/ink). These techniques are gone.

Featuring the ever-unfinished Omen painting. I really haven't drawn much these last couple years and I've gotten rusty but I'm trying to find the spark again
Amateur/beginner acrylic canvas painting of a blue and green wolf with a scrappy plain purple background, shows a lot of room for improvement as far as anatomy, composition and painting skill Unfinished painting of Omen, a red wolf with bright yellow eyes, snarling ferociously with an open mouth, bared teeth, and a bright light eminating from his maw. It has more detailed fur and rendering overall than the blue wolf painting. Brighter, more vibrant colors, more anatomically correct. An old MS Paint drawing of six fox-like, four-legged characters, staged as if they were taking a photo together. Anatomy needs improvement as well as the cell shading. God I'm procrastinating painting the skin so hard... Skin shading is always one of my weakest points in my drawings, solely because I just don't know my Anatomy enough to make it look good =') especially when it comes to cell shading which feels a lot less forgiving than soft shading...

Edward Hopper's painting "House by the Railroad" - a three story victorian house on the other side of railroad tracks from the viewer. David continued down the hall to his office. He grabbed his signed copy of The Kosher Soul by Michael Twitty, a gift from a grateful client, and the Mont Blanc pen set that was one of the last gifts he’d ever gotten from his father before he passed. He looked at the reproduction of Edward Hopper’s “House by the Railroad” that Rochelle had given him when he’d sold his first house for her, but decided to leave it for the office’s next occupant. He’d just sat at the desk and started going through the drawers when his cell rang. David pulled it out of his pocket and almost groaned when he saw it was his best friend calling. His best friend, Walker, who also happened to be Kirsten’s older brother and Rochelle’s son. When the call connected, Walker didn’t wait for David. He just launched into the conversation. “Weren’t you going to tell me?”

Thankyou! my favorite painting! I borrowed your post to compare my collage effort. Being deeply and literally moved at the museum, I returned home to create my own image. We didn’t have cell phones yet Plus I had never seen this one in Art History books. I wanted to remember it.
