DeKalb County Commissioner Ted Terry announced he will introduce a resolution condemning the fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good by federal agents in Minneapolis and calling for the withdrawal of tactical federal immigration enforcement operations from DeKalb County residential neighborhoods. What's Happening: Terry will present the resolution at a Board of Commissioners meeting Tuesday, January 13, at 9a.m. The resolution addresses the January 7, shooting of Good, a 37-year-old mother and poet, by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent in Minneapolis.

They are planning on DeKalb and Broadway CBTC within this capital plan, which should help, but I'm not sure if it's enough. Deinterlining would help a lot. Stillwell I'm not sure about, but they could short turn trains, probably with the B at Brighton or with new switches at Ocean Pkwy.

My county DeKalb here in Atlanta just placed a moratorium on three datacenters until next June. One is 1 Million sq.ft. and one is directly on the South River, one of the most endagered rivers here in Georgia. All are in th 90% Black communities in South DeKalb County and VERY unpopular here.
