Which is fine, where a 'baseline' pressure changes very little
- and that's a 'standard' assumption in the Aerodynamics of Flight.
But it simply isn't true. And in situations with little 'room for error', it's lethal.

2. Goal = CONDITION shambles so it's semi-stable aft.
3. Downwash nozzles influence flow attached to rotating tyre.
4. Which assists MAIN flow in filling cut-away foot at front hull 'h'.
5. Net gain >> Lift 😉

You know I'm no brainiac with Aero, but surely a pair of these F/W D/w ducts, will take load off the unsprung tyre contact patch. There must be a lift effect opposing the downwash pressure generated. Counter-productive?

The solution is the Vuichard Maneuver that allows the helicopter to 'sidestep' its downwash and shift its rotor into undisturbed air.
