I miss the decimator and regular dreadnoughts. The Sekhitar for Thousand Sons are ok, but I want more daemon engines for everyone if Vaashtor is supposed to be the new big thing and I want more Horus Heresy stuff because of the Long War

I like it as a Chaos answer to the new big marine dreadnoughts.

I didn't care for the old defiler and appreciate the new one on it's own. But i imagine most people that see it will think their is a pilot in there.

After a short break, the Telemon dread is back and I've jumped back into painting the decorative details on its left leg. The vertical split between osl and dark purple light was fun!

Once I'm done with all the silver nmm I'll move on to the weapon options.

These pictures show close-ups of the left legs shin guard with its detailed decorative sculpts of an aquila symbol and two floral filigree details on either side. One side is painted to be affected by green osl emitted by the base and the other side is defined by one of the environmental purple-ish light sources. The dreadnought overall is painted to be mostly shiny black armor, with some sharp highlights in white blended out with blues and purples and blue-purple shoulder pads. The decorative details are painted to look silver and there's accent coloration done in magenta, like the rocket tips, the headlights and eye lenses of the dreadnoughts head. It's placed above a rune on the base, which glows in a blue-green-yellow color blend, so the bottom parts of the dreadnought are lit up accordingly by that osl. The photography was done in front of grey background and has a very low opacity CryoCheese icon in the bottom left corner. The miniature is produced and sold by Games Workshop.
