This is basically quite fresh these days. There’s a bunch of recurring Duckburg characters and they have some loose biographic details shared across stories, but other than writers seem to be quite free to come up with stuff.

There is a Donald Duck comic where everyone in Duckburg gets a home computer powered by AI, which not only makes everyone in Duckburg stupid and lazy, but also lets the Beagle Boys steal everyone's personal information for blackmail.

"corporate (tm)" in the sense that... idk, it just feels very "and here's donald duck. clap please" to me nowadays but i understand that i also never really felt any Disney Movie Magic (tm) even as a kid, all that energy went to the comics & duckburg type shit for me instead

My theory, which I prefer to have stay in my head to avoid too much corporate synergy is that the birds in the #Zootopia universe went off to found Duckburg. Even though they’re all new money Duckburg gives them more of a chance to chase after wealth than Zootopia would.

Duckburg doesn't seem to have many problems in the reboot inherently. Most of them are from selfish people who also have money and power trying to take Scrooge's. There's the Beagle Boys, but even that's explained as more of their family having a grudge with the McDucks.
