Ok, I was exaggerating slightly. But his statements on that subject have been so unnecessarily combative of anyone expressing any other emotion that it’s hard to tell what he wants. If you want to better explain it feel free.

But that’s also part of his problem. He puts his demands at places that would unnecessarily alienate people, probably in an attempt to distinguish himself, without asking what he’s accomplishing by doing so. See his posts about the Manchester synagogue for a good example.

What is it that you actually believe in? I know what Sanders does. I agree with some of it like his statement here. I disagree strongly with others of it like his statements on immigration. But at least I know he believes in stuff other than “let people I hate suffer.”

Also on a related note I consider “left” “right” and “center” as terms that only mean something in relation to something’s position in relation to other things just like their literal meanings. The notion that some kind of eternal political spectrum exists across all times and places is unhelpful.

The mainstream media people who go on about how political centrists are key to the future are half right. Centrists are almost never the people to propose new ideas except ones tied to corporate lobbyists. But it’s when they ADOPT ideas previously considered radical that change occurs.

I found that post and still don’t understand the comparison. Gina Carrano never gave too many opinions on the movies themselves that I can remember. The controversies all involved her opinions on other things.
