So… anyone with a SECURITY CLEARANCE could request to see the national security information on this. But…you know…..🤷‍♂️

#ICYMI: The Department of Homeland Security says it intends to add state driver's license information to a swiftly expanding federal system envisioned as a one-stop shop for checking citizenship.

DHS Wants States to Hand Over Driver’s License Data for Citizenship Checks
It’s the latest step in an unprecedented initiative to pool confidential data that the Trump administration claims will help identify noncitizens on voter rolls and tighten immigration enforcement.

Politico is stirring up trouble, raising the possibility - seemingly out of the blue - that Trump could withhold a security clearance for Zohran Mamdani, denying him information on threats to the city that was quite recently the target of the worst terrorist attack in US history.
An early test of a Mamdani-Trump relationship? Security clearance.
The president has revoked security clearances as a way to punish political enemies.

❌ Center for Countering Disinformation has denied "information" about Umerov's refusal to return to Ukraine.

💬 "The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council is working in the US, where he is holding a number of working consultations and meetings."

Dear Homeland Security,
Please release information on all these harden criminals that you supposedly have proof of their criminal behavior. If you don’t we will continue to assume you are lying and locking up people because of the color of their skin.
Sincerely, American Protesters

The top issue of the 2016 campaign was email server management and information security.

That ushered in an admin that quickly compromised information security in much worse ways. It got much less attention. And Americans re-empowered them in 2024.

Signal leak alone was orders of magnitude worse.
Our leading news organizations turned a cache of ultimately-innocuous emails into a scandal-coded weeklong series of front page stories leading into the 2016 election. If they do not cover the "emails from notorious pedophile implication the President" emails with the same fervor, it's curious!

Information that the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov allegedly left the country and refuses to return to Ukraine is disinformation.

This is deeply alarming.

Senior FBI officials receive some of the most sensitive information in government.

Signing personal waivers to appoint unqualified senior officials puts our national security at grave risk.
This is so damning for Dan Bongino and Kash Patel.

I think I would make more money marketing bookkeeping services to [redacted niche] than in information security, fantastic.

According to the Meidas Touch breakdown recently Epstein was emailing the Russians the day before the Helsinki summit.

Where, if people remember, Trump stood defending Putin against the information of US Intel.

He met with him in private. Zero security.

Your security concerns don't exclude the also legitimate concern that a person exposed to sensitive information was excluded from established vetting protocols.

@repmcgovern.bsky.social

This isn’t just a sex trafficking scandal anymore. That would be bad enough, but now we know Epstein was sharing information with Putin.

That makes it a national security issue. And Epstein had dirt on other politicians as well. How much of Congress is Putin controlling?

Ah, yes, illegal immigrants with no social security number, work history, or banking information are definitely applying for and getting approved for 30 year mortgages in the suburbs of every major city in America.

#scamalert unauthorized use of my and others’ images on this scam site that claims you can get in touch with various cybersecurity people through them.

Pretty sure neither @schneier.com nor I have phone numbers in India 🤦🏻‍♀️

sorry but i feel like its also key here to point out some of the biggest publications in america and journalists in positions to print this REFUSED to do so, held onto the information, and proceeded to run with headlines of transgenders and immigrants being a threat to security instead

Think about this: if the highest levels of government are withholding information on pedophiles over "National Security" reasons, are any of us -- especially children -- actually secure?
Trump: "House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files, because we have nothing to hide."

The only service that continues to function reliably is the Federal State Information System "Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services (Functions)" ("Gosuslugi").

Telecom operators told Russian media that the outages are "related to security measures."

Hi pocket besties,

Something I don't talk about is my Cyber security background. 👀

Please be careful when you post your specific information online. Many "fun" surveys lead to answers for your security questions online.

There are ppl whose job it is to connect the dots. Don't give them yours.

The report of investigation is provided, with some redactions. While not technically a Freedom of Information Act release, Army uses FOIA principles to govern redactions.

This allows common redactions for national security, spec ops tactics, & privacy.

No redactions for “immature/ embarrassing.”

The DHS has been using surveillance tech at football games (both college and NFL), across college campuses, concerts, and at the Olympics. Without telling us anything.

So the national security leadership team of the United States is meeting to pressure a member of congress (even one who give hj’s in public) to suppress information about a teenage sex trafficking ring.

This is their priority. This is who they are. This is what American voted for.
