Future generations, to the extent there are any, simply won’t be able to comprehend just how stupid the causes of the Third World War were
The retaliation measures are being drawn up to give European leaders leverage in pivotal meetings with the US president at the World Economic Forum in Davos. ft.trib.al/aKexyt2

She made literally the same accusation about Portland, Chicago, & LA.

They’re not just liars, they’re incredibly lazy liars.
Every time the Trump regime uses the words "funded protesters" and "outside agitators" news outlets need to cut to this photo from last week.

ICE has invaded these communities. Outside agitators don't show up in their fucking bathrobes.

Ted Cruz never met a boot he wouldn’t lick
Cruz: "When it comes to Greenland, I want to commend President Trump for being single-mindedly focused on America first... I believe it is overwhelmingly in America's national interest to acquire Greenland... the whole history of America has been a history of acquiring new lands and new territories"

This is perfect, and the essential pushback: Figure out who convinced DJT of each particular obsession, and who stands to profit.

These aren't spontaneous irrational fantasies. Someone plants and encourages each one -- someone with a vested $$$ interest.
Trump’s foreign policy is all about enriching his family & rich friends. It was his billionaire donor Ron Lauder, who has investments in Greenland, who told him to buy it.

Now Trump risks the NATO alliance & war with Europe to pad his friend’s pockets.

We can’t let that happen.

And anyone with a lick of sense knows that he’s practically unelectable nationally
it remains nuts to me that the argument for Newsom is that he's inevitable while he's not even the polling favorite

Come for "Medicare and Medicaid are bad, actually," stay for Ramaswamy's tsunami of pseudointellectual Ayn Rand-goes-to-Davos claptrap. You think Democrats use alienating "faculty lounge language"? Listen to this arrogant schmuck talk.
Klein: Were Medicare and Medicaid mistakes?

Ramaswamy: I believe they were. With the benefit of retrospect, particularly Medicaid.

By saying that territorial expansion is in our blood, Schmitt is quite literally articulating a "blood and soil" imperialism.
the fact that Republican senators like Schmitt can’t even write a fascist screed on their own and instead have to rely on chatGPT perfectly captures the unique combination of evil and stupid that defines the modern Republican Party
