Bloomberg News was the NetApp Earnings 'Leaker'
NetApp earnings were released early today by Bloomberg News, which apparently found the financial results using a common reporting tactic: guessing a Web address.

Seems like a decent guess as to what happened here. They've removed the PDF now but the horse has left the barn
I guess some bright spark just guessed what the direct link would be and someone at the OBR assumed that until they published the link, it was okay?

I guess I now have to do a thread on shoes in ancient Mesopotamia in response to this (which happens to be from one of my favourite accounts).

I’m not an archaeologist, nor do I really know anything about shoes, but let’s go on this journey together.
can't believe this ancient mesopotamia shoe wearing ass said people need to dress up at the airport

Like with Vought et al in the US thinking they can roll back all social change in the last few decades by destroying the administrative state bureaucracy, Glasman et al seem to think you can do the same by making the post-secondary sector implode in the UK.
there's a lot to unpack here Lord Glasman

I genuinely do not think it is possible for non marginalized people to uplift marginalized voices at least through something as crude as social media shares. I Basically never see someone share a marginalized perspective they disagree with, so then all you are doing is amplifying your own view.
But people like MRO are doing the whole "Listen 👏 to 👏 Palestinians" and presenting their most deranged poasters, kinda like the weird Hasbarah accounts who do the same thing with Jews, and the Jewish Voice you should Listen to ends up being Meir freaking Kahane ימ"ש

Honestly think that this is the skeleton key to a lot of racism discourse: this is a perfectly coherent thing to say for someone who thinks of racism as a question of etiquette, first and foremost
It's only racism if you say it directly to someone's face, otherwise it's just sparkling banter.
Carefully qualifying my "I've never racially abused people" claim, in a totally normal and non-suspicious manner.

trans men are too busy preparing for evensong.
I will say I can't recall a time when I've been bullied (or had someone try to bully me) on-line by a binary trans man, the trans mean is very dominated by trans women with a sprinkling of non-binary, thats just my experience could be totally non-representative

Sometimes wonder if what the UK needs is a thinktank that doesn't do any new research, it just repeats obviously true statements that people try to ignore because they're inconvenient.

this reasoning for why the exception existed in the first place is so absurd that it must be true
The smorgasbord of tax increases has just acquired its smallest and feeblest contribution, as a bottle of Yakult is quietly added to the buffet.

(Am reliably told they excepted milk-based drinks because it looked silly taxing yogurt that advertised itself as healthy, silly though that is.)
UK GOVT WILL REMOVE THE CURRENT EXEMPTION FOR MILK-BASED DRINKS FROM ITS SUGAR TAX FROM 2028
