#inkjam
Anyway, I just remembered that I wrote a whole-ass noncon brat subjugation story for InkJam in 2025, and the protagonist didn't even throw a peace sign to show the audience they were fine with the ongoing proceedings!! 😱

Also this is the year I’ve not only committed to do a narrative game for inkJam but actually made one (with the help of great friends) – rough in many ways, but I’m still glad we managed to get it together and without a compromise on the original idea.

Speaking of games, I also made ambrolen.itch.io/pick-your-ge..., which won 1st place in this year's InkJam, and netted me $5, the first time I've been paid for a game!
I also received an honorable mention in the 1st round @nycmidnight.bsky.social's 100 word microfiction challenge

I've never worked with Paulloz but I wouldn't be where I am now without his ink engine integrations and inkJam, which he started
Me, and half of my coworkers, have been laid off. I'm now looking for my next position as gameplay or tools programmer (remote, or relocating within Europe). More about me on my website: pauljoannon.com #gamejobs #gamedevjobs
Hi! I'm Paul, a French game programmer living in Lille.

You might know me for narrative-centric games such as “Bury me, my Love”, or “King of the Castle”.

I am also one of the maintainers for the .NET integration in #GodotEngine.

I have a big backlog project written in Ink, which stalled a while back as I couldn't quite get everything I wanted working. I was looking through the InkJam resources list and this web template was listed.

Does pretty much everything I need!

The ratings are in, and out of 16 submissions, I came in at rank 11 in the #InkJam! 🤩

The top three are well-deserved, and were my favorites too 👏

And that's a wrap, folks!

8,644 words written, of which 2,000 *today*, and now I just need to do a final_final_v2 editing pass on my #InkJam entry 😅

Decided to take the "Big Switch" prompt for #inkJam literally and make a game with... A big (light) switch. Took some time implementing it in Godot, but happy with the tech - now to write the damn thing

What if I got a lil spicy with the disclaimer in my #inkjam entry, as a treat 😌

I've written ~900 words for the #inkjam today. My goal is 1000 per day if I want to make Sunday's deadline 😅

I might be submitting more IF to inkjam and/or bara jam, hopefully point & click. I'm having more catastrophic power problems so Godot development is on hold for now.

I've removed From Nothing from itch. It was very incomplete and too ambitious to finish any time soon.

I am already in the middle of a big project so this will not be something I am participating in, unless I come up with a BRILLIANT idea for a short game to test some of the coding I need to work with soon as a result of a few recent developments 😂

There’ll often be some on itch.io too if you keep an eye out on their gamejams list.

Taking photos of drawings so I can move them into the game. I take photos in different spaces to capture the color of the light in the paper and on the ink. I think it is a cool way of preserving the original look of the drawing.
