I’ve been using Wahoo trainers for six years, a Kickr v5 for almost five of those until it started failing a month ago. Wahoo support have replaced it with a refurb for free, well outside of any warranty period. So as well as good products full marks for after sales service 👍

So liebe Expert:innen, Thema Rollentrainer (für Neulinge). Welche Empfehlungen habt ihr? Taugt der Decathlon D100 oder muss es der Kickr Core sein? Mir ist nicht so ganz klar, was diese ganzen Zwift-Extras sind, könnte ich die Trainer auch ohne Zwift nutzen?

Wahoo has introduced a new Kickr Bike Pro, which it bills as “the pinnacle of indoor riding technology” and includes a saddle and handlebar tape from Fizik, along with a new Kickr Core 2 trainer that comes with WiFi connectivity and the option of either a Zwift Cog and Click or an 11-speed cassette.

I don't disagree. That said, most folks care more than me about what they're paying for and not necessarily who's banking who, and that was my point.
That said, can't wait for the Kickr Run to be available in the EU as I'm sure that will be another big reason for sticking to Zwift.

A decent afternoon on Zwift for 2h45m and 45 miles (there was a 4th ride of 5 miles). Gotta ride all the routes as a noob.

I have most of the set up still from when I was doing tri. But my old turbo trainer is a noisy and the ERG is bad. Kickr core the noisiest bit is the chain on the cogs, apparently, and it's smooth in ERG.

I’ve not tried the garmin trainers. We bought the kickr during lockdown and were happy to get anything. I’ve also got the kickr bike for work, which I use as a jig. The bike can angle up and down which is fun

Hab den Kickr Rollr und finde guter Kompromiss. Musst das Rad nicht immer ausbauen, steht aber trotzdem stabil auf dem Trainer. Und du kannst schnell mal auf die Rolle springen und nimmst das Rad dann einfach wieder raus (zB bei Schlechtwetter im Sommer)
