Creatine is basically the only supplement we’ve researched enough to show it’s both safe and effective for most people. Some folk are non-responders and people with kidney probs shouldn’t use it, but slight elevation in creatinine is usually fine if it can be attributed to creatine supplementation.

Friends, Today marks 24 hours of collective resistance and organizing as our communities take a stand against government agents terrorizing and harming our neighbors. Many businesses are choosing to close today in economic solidarity with the movement. Others are supporting mutual aid organizations or using their platforms to call out immoral actions. Organizations and community leaders continue ongoing organizing every day required for systemic change. Give each other grace right now. Remember not every small business is able to close today. I’ve seen arguments about businesses that are taking other actions when closing isn’t an option. The systems we seek to change would rather we fight amongst each other than unite in solidarity. There is not one singular action on a single day that will achieve change; our resistance is an interconnected system of many valid actions and roles which we each must fulfill to our ability. We need frontline responders, healers, builders, caregivers, guides, and organizers equally. Continue prioritizing small LGBTQ+, Black, and Brown small businesses. Support the businesses that are closing on days they are open. Continue doing what you can in the ecosystem of collective action. Support non-business locations that offer the important third-places our community needs to rest and recover such as libraries and community centers. Remember that the violence we see today isn’t new; our Black, Brown, and Trans siblings have faced it throughout history, without the attention it gets when someone else is killed. Listen to their voices and continue fighting for them, not just when it’s a familiar reflection in the news. If you are looking for a space to restore with community, Spotted Rabbit will have their monthly Queer Art Club at the Rainbow Union on Sunday from 2-4 pm, where you can be with their art therapy interns and fellow LGBTQ+ folx will craft Victorian Puzzle cards together. Finally, as you know, research, especially research impacting historically marginalized identities, has been under attack. The Rochester Victory Alliance (which is my day job) has continued its work in searching for a safe and effective HIV vaccine, despite headwinds. After several months without studies, we finally have some new ones opening this Spring. Will you help us by spreading the word? Having our LGBTQ+ voices represented in research, especially research focused at stopping the spread of HIV, is more important than ever! Please see the attached flyer for more information. It wasn't a matter of time wearing off. The first time she was checked was about 5 years after, but the second check was 6 weeks after inoculation. The doctors aren't sure why, but apparently some people simply are "non-responders". I'm told these people are naturally immune. Odd, isn't it?

That’s a good point. A different and less effective vaccine was used in the early 1960s, I forgot that. And although we give two doses to capture non-responders rather than as a booster, it might also help there and those from the one dose time - until early 1990s - might be less protected 1/2

Richard DiMarchi in 2012(!!) did preclinical work that suggested this would be the case. While this is a small retrospective study, the difference in weight loss between the HRT arm (19.2%) and non-HRT arm (14%) is not small! For post menopausal women GLP1 non-responders HRT might break the stall?

Interesting. I thought Germany routinely gives two doses and adults born after 1970 receive a single one based on the assumption that many will have some immunity and because non-responders to the first dose are rare. But will look up the guidelines

This sounds about right.
We cannot overstate the importance of the courage pouring into the streets of the Twin Cities. It can be easy to write off rapid response networks, because we know that simply filming and observing this accelerating campaign of violence is not enough. Many networks across the country have demobilized themselves before they even got going by trying to rigidly control what their participants could do, despite widespread willingness to escalate. Trainers often preach non-interference; some rapid responders police each other in the streets for throwing projectiles or even for yelling. In some cases, this comes from a self-preservationist fear about repression targeting the NGOs involved in rapid response. In other cases, it shows up as a well-meaning but misguided focus on "safety" that is simply paternalism, deciding what risk levels are appropriate for other people.
