Tell that to the huge majority of businesses that abandon AI, without any return on investment, after firing people.
Tell that to the women and children being undressed on X.
Tell that to the parents of the kids who listened to AI about suicide.
Tell it to the Americans without healthcare.

Blame someone / something else… ummm, blame the AI tool!
AI is becoming our societal scapegoat!

No oversight; no competence; no process!
Just a lot of BS blame-deflecting as they seek to cover up: ignorance + corruption + incompetence!
Or, as parents hear a lot from their kids in trouble: “Not me!”

yeah, watching my parents uncritically take in and share AI stuff while they are seemingly unable to distinguish it from reality has been one of the more depressing developments of Being on the Internet these days

Currently ripping 25 yr old audio tapes of now-deceased parents and in-laws reading stories for my children for when we moved to Australia for a year. Quite a trip! Don't need AI to keep Grandma present!

guys or girls take selfies of body parts or sex acts “and they get caught.”

AI is unregulated. Trump is fighting AI being regulated.

Here’s what happened to these guys. Because AI is fake, not real - nothing from law enforcement. The only recourse is parents of the girls file defamation suits.

The risks of AI in schools outweigh the benefits, report says
"The sweeping study includes focus groups and interviews with K-12 students, parents, educators and tech experts in 50 countries, as well as a literature review of hundreds of research articles."

On discutait avec une médecine du service après qu'elle a participé à une commission recevant des parents d'enfants handicapés. Elle disait que c'est compliqué quand les parents refusent l'IME, je lui ai dit que ça me semblait légitime comme refus.

Tech lobbyists got *roasted* in a recent hearing on AI bills when they sounded like they really didn't care about kids safety.

Protip: never refer to teens who have committed suicide as "outliers" when you're testifying in the same hearing as their parents.

I also pointed out that teenaged her did not KNOW about the potential dangers. She spun it into how AI is "fallen angel tech."

My darling, I know we share the same beliefs. Machine spirits are not evil. And your parents failed you.
