#sainbury's
Having shopped at a Waitrose, Sainbury’s, and Tesco before, I can confirm this is true. Heck, when I was an expat in the Philippines for two years, I did my groceries at a Marks & Spencer!
'British food is bad' has been untrue for like a generation and a half at this point but really sticks around in the U.S. U.S. supermarkets are inferior to their U.K. counterparts!

My wife and I going into Sainbury's: "Won't it be nice to just buy healthy, fresh food."

My wife and I once inside Sainsbury's: "I mean, you just can't argue with a discount like that."

End of the 80's, my best unexpected load in my Citroen 2CV was: 1 infant in baby seat, my weeks Sainbury's shop and the same for my in-laws, 1 small pine kitchen table & 1 pine 4 panel external door, ended up with the roof down to slide the door in upright. Love that car, a brilliant town runabout.

Even Cliff Richard has to nip out to Sainbury's once in a while. After all, you and he are still flesh and blood and raw throbbing talent.

Used self-checkout at a Sainbury's to buy a red bull and some rice cakes and the machine turned red so the store worker came over and hit a button on the screen that said Visibly Over 25 like did the self checkout machine just read me for filth or

I swear I saw that Sainbury's was doing facial rec and Starmer is saying everyone should have digital IDs. So the UK is crashing out before us....

I've seen one take off from the playing field across the river from Sainbury's. Apparently they fold up the balloon and put it and the basket onto a lorry.

I am a man - since birth I have identified as male - AND YET - Sainbury's Sticky Toffee Pudding has decided that I am a Family of Four

Today I learn that Sainbury's diced chorizo has caseinate in it, which is basically milk protein, which I think is the problem. But only the diced stuff, and not in any other supermarket. WHY

Here, the Tesco and the Sainbury's both have "bakeries". Even though they are the same sort of "stick it in the oven, bake it and put it on the shelves" sort as the local Lidl, they consistently produce worse results. I suspect it's the raw materials

Well, we're in the 30℃'s and Sainbury's did an 18 pack of Carlsberg for a tenner, grin.
Actual wedding happened yesterday. Loud live drums, beautiful saris and handsome kurta danced in the street then processiond away in a white Rolls Royce.
Mercifully quite quiet since.

Oh that stuff is easy! Worst part is the food shopping! I end up going to Sainbury's at least once a day cause I forget stuff

I've seen that one! Such a great commercial. I believe it uses clips from "Joyeux Noel". Sainsbury's has some very good ads. Have you seen "Mog's Christmas Calamity"? My favorite Sainbury's ad. Heck, my favorite ad, period.

I thought the Sainbury's in-house cafés had disappeared years ago? In fact you don't really see cafés within shops etc. that often now. Last one I went into was inside Debenhams and I remember as a skint student sitting in Littlewoods cafés and pinching their sachets of condiments and sugar.

Nope, craving is gone, nope.

(for context, S$3.50 = GBP2.07)

Nope.
Read most Orange Juice. It's made from concentrate.
Sainbury's used to sell the concentrate on its own and you could do the work instead.

Oh goooooood, I've had that once when I was 18 and working at Sainbury's. I got on really well with this girl and she ended up telling me she was into me. I was kinda freaked out at first but told her the truth straight away, I was getting more used to coming out by then.... ish. It was so awkward.
