Yeah, I remember there being a bit of a faff with the Raspberry version of the OS - stuff like using Chromium and things like Netflix not working without some annoying DRM workarounds. Mint seems far slicker - it comes with Firefox installed and ready to go. YouTube, etc. all just work.

Trying to figure out of BlueSky is being really slow for anyone else? I keep getting this message (see image), when I press post, though it will eventually go through. It seems to get better if I get off my Wi-Fi network, but only for a time, then it's better back on it, I'm perplexed.

It’s like if 1 part of life is going right, another part goes to shit. Over the years I’ve learned that’s just life and I deal with things as they occur. It is what it is. Sometimes it sucks and is annoying. RN for me is seems like my car knows it’s the holidays so it too wants $1K in repair gifts.

I switched keys and it’s still doing it. And turning it on and off doesn’t help much, actually. Sometimes I just leave my key in the ignition and come back later to get it, since it seems to just…have a delayed release? Idk but it’s fucking annoying. I can’t have this happen when I’m trying to work.
My car is doing this cute thing where I turn it off and the key doesn’t come out of the ignition. And I have to start my car and turn it off over and over until it decides to come out. 🙃

yeah ive never needed sqlalchemy, but this is a big part of what i find annoying. The raw strings are ugly and lose syntax highlighting, linting, tab completion, etc--all the things that make IDEs productive
alchemy seems to add fair bit of code overhead, but probably worth it. good tip!

So after booting up windows again, seems the brightness, contrast settings from Nvidia have been completely forgotten and had to faff about resetting them again.
It's an annoying bug. Might try moving to AMD or something next time around. Nvidia consumer drivers have been piss poor lately.

Pluribus is a show I really want to like. I wish I liked it more. I applaud Vince Gilligan for his boldness in creating a unique and original story. But outside of the first two episodes, I haven't been impressed so far. There are even times when it seems intentionally annoying. Hope it gets better

(Not that I imagine Russia could hold ground in Finland, but they don't have to just to be *very* annoying to the locals.)
