The usual suspects (MCU actors for Marvel, DCAU actors for DC), but coming up with voices for the Absolute characters has been fun.

I think I’ve settled on Laura Bailey for WW, Nolan North for Superman and weirdly, Will Friedle for SwoleBat.

I think my most positive experience with DC remains the DCAU, particularly the Timmverse stuff (Batman the Animated Series, Superman the Animated Series, Batman Beyond, Justice League and Justice League Unlimited).

So far, everything else has been hit or miss for me.

i was also like homegrown on BTAS and the new adventures of superman so it was always an easy revisit when DC tried a new cartoon out. i kind of petered out on the Big 2's comics in my early teens but i enjoyed revisiting DCAU stuff

When DC Universe launched as a streaming/digital comics hybrid, it had *all* of Super Friends, the full DCAU, pretty much every animated movie to date, the Superman serials, the George Reeves series, Superboy, & more. Most of that didn’t survive the transition to HBO Max.

I like that and DCAU Superman. DCAU is pretty much the go-to standard of DC for me except for Aquaman. I like the DCEU version of Aquaman.

"Luthor, Lex Luthor. The annoying pain in the ass currently behind me is my sister Lena" "Oh come on, I'm a great pain in the ass and you know it" It's time for the ever preseant thorn in Superman's side to appear in the Atomic DC Universe, though here Lex Luthor's a lot more different aside from the inclusion of a version of his sister as well! To put it best this version of Luthor is inspired by Aizen from Bleach and much more of a scientist than other modern versions of Lex. In short, he's someone more focused on progess and creation than actively trying to kill Superman, though most of his expirments find someway to try and kill the Man of Steel anyways. That said, Lex in this concept is still as petty as ever and this time unintentionally at times too! I have some fun ideas for the future hehe. To go with Lex however is his sister, Lena Luthor is also here and much more different than other versions of her. Here she and brother have a good sibling relation ship despite Lena being more gremlin at times. To point where the reason Lex has long hair here and in-universe LexCorp has a rather successful division to hair products and growth is due to Lena shaving Lex bald back in college as a prank and him both compensation for the loss and planning his own eventual pretty revenge. "Mercy Graves. Luthor's bodyguard and assistant, at your service Ms Lane" Here she is, the personal bodyguard and assistand of the Luthors in the Atomic DC Universe Mercy Graves! She's similar to her original DCAU counterpart but more laidback. Still just as dangerous, especially since she isn't blindly loyal to either Luthor and is the first personal to take Kryptonian Strength Pills. She actually has a pretty friendly relationship with Lois and Superman! As an aside, I also imagine her swapping around her hairstyle every arc or so kinda like Bulma does in Dragon Ball.

I’m late to see Superman but DC comics are my favorite media “thing” and having grown up with the DCAU, kids Keypto super pets show, super friends reruns, and then reading the comics when I got older, and as someone who did enjoy parts of the DCEU, I gotta say, this was a perfect superhero film
