I’d go so far as to say that refusing to engage with very simple technology when needed is a form of rudeness. There are so many free digital literacy classes available if this is a genuine skill issue. I can’t help but feel like for some people it’s a choice to make things as difficult as possible.

My latest example: the Interstice technology that allows deep space travel. How does it work? Who cares! The point is, it gets you to deep space and releases your ship somewhere you can discover cool planets and shit.

It’s those that develop the technology and how to use it for good that win the award, not those that jump on the bandwagon afterwards and throw money at it for aggrandisement! He is so desperate it is pathetic…mind you, that’s definitely him through and through!

It's easy to make fun of someone like "how do you not know how to use this thing I went my entire life knowing about??" but times and technology shift so rapidly now that obsolescence of certain things takes a year atp instead of like 5-10 years.

I'm particularly fond of a video by a cinematographer explaining why it would be easier, technically, to go to the moon than fake the moon landing. Particularly faking an entire 90min telecast with no cuts with 1960s film and TV technology.

Wall Street Alarm: Are Big Tech Companies Gambling on Debt to Fuel AI Ambitions?
As artificial intelligence becomes the defining frontier of the tech industry, Wall Street is beginning to scrutinize how major technology firms are financing their AI strategies. Meta’s dramatic 11% drop last Thursday, despite posting strong quarterly results, underscores the tension: the company announced increased capital spending to accelerate AI development, sparking investor unease. The underlying concern is clear—while AI promises transformative growth, funding it through debt could introduce financial risk that markets may not tolerate indefinitely.

When I read about new tech concepts like this, my question is always "why can't the old technology just do this? I'm sure their goal is not to suck. What makes it impossible for them to just make the old better, and, thus, requires that the new way exist?" solutionsreview.com/data-managem...

Solar power is the technology that has the potential to replace the outdated power grid system, designed in the 1880s. Every building could self power which would be more robust for surviving severe weather events.
