I assign them as "readings" in that the stories in the songs or about the musicians are relevant to the topic of the particular class. class on emigration -> Born to Run. Climate migration -> When the Levee Breaks by Memphis Minnie and Kansas Joe. Nativism -> No Irish Need Apply by the Wakes
