Nancy Mace claims on CNN that she supports Matt Gaetz because he's "very good on civil rights and civil liberties issues"

(Gaetz was recently under investigation for sex trafficking, so, yeah, not sure about that one)

A lot of people responsible for poor decisions are on a press tour right now because if they didn’t, people would rightfully be questioning THEIR leadership and they know it.

It’s weak even by normal left-punching standards. Zero evidence more Liz Cheney would have won this. The opposite, actually.

I think the latter half of the sentence speaks for itself - are those advocating for 'intellectual diversity' being intellectually honest?

And are those advocates really *listening* to other perspectives themselves?

I'm not deeply familiar with academic hiring - Are there examples where there has been unwillingness to hire?

I tend to be ok with hosting various perspectives to speak (e.g. ACLU on Coulter www.aclu.org/press-releas...), but that's different than supporting/hiring them...

Gerrymandering isn’t about the number of states, it’s about the number of districts carved up by politicians in each state.

Republicans have been kicking our ass for decades when you count the total number of districts gerrymandered in Congress.

i keep seeing people saying “no way to know why dems lost” and it makes me want to lose my mind

they lost bc disengaged voters bought gop bullshit and its pretty obvious this was the payoff of a generational effort on the right to work the refs in media…

Heart shattering to learn an Israeli drone has targeted and assassinated Mahmoud Almadhoun, one of the founders and chefs behind the Gaza Soup Kitchen.

What started as four pots and essential ingredients in Bait Lahia had grown into a remarkable effort to feed 3,000 people daily.

It's only a matter of time before the hummingbirds I live with make it into my stories. But they've already impacted me permanently. I have scoliosis + a scar from surgery for it (from which I experienced paralysis), so I usually don't show my back. But this little tattoo got me to do that. 😊

We’re not accepting complaints about the Hunter Biden pardon unless you also complained about the Steve Bannon, Michael Flynn, Roger Stone, and Paul Manafort pardons.

I can’t even imagine suggesting in public that Biden can somehow restrain Trump by modeling good behavior. Seriously, how embarrassing for anyone who understands that little about the world and what we’re in for. Put on some clown makeup and sit in the corner.

imagine if they do catch the guy who put down the insurance ghoul. they’re gonna have a hell of a time seating a jury. think of the voir dire. they’ll have to eliminate everybody who ever cried on the phone with their insurance company & there won’t be anyone left.

We can all hate insurance companies without cheering the murder of someone or worse, trying to monetize content about that murder.

It looks like the motive for the NY assassination of the CEO was due to a healthcare system that has made BILLIONS of dollars from the suffering of others.
It hasn't always been this way. It doesn't need to be this way going forward. 💙

Israel collectively punishing the people of Palestine, leading to the deaths of tens of thousands of people, including thousands of children, is also wrong.
