It’s just a casual “you should personally add 10-15% more working years onto your life, but it will make the US economic numbers seem sooo much better.”
The #Yankees gave up 23 runs in the first two games of a best of five. This has only happened one other time with the 1999 Red Sox, who incidentally came back to win. I’m not that optimistic.
Also seems like several plays where receivers aren’t even looking for a ball that’s thrown their way (Shavers, Palmer). Allen getting frustrated cause guys aren’t where he’s expecting them/needs them to be.
Is it just me or does it seem like Keons first step is always backwards? #Bills
Nice job #Yankees with 8 strikeouts in 9 plate appearances from the top 5 in your order
So these carrots were all planted from the same seeds, at the same time, in the same half of the plot, and watered the same way. Lots of variance going on.
You will be pleased to know that my wife is getting a masters in early childhood education at the U. And this is exactly how they say to develop a curriculum for very young. Each lesson builds vocabulary, but sparks follow-up thought and development in each kid based on their interest

Climate change won’t stop for a government shutdown. We’re following a developing late-season heatwave in the Midwest and Northeastern US. Temperatures are expected to be over 20F above normal today through early next week.
And will Universities stand as one against this policy? Or are all the provosts giving each other side eye to see who gives in first, so they can quickly follow suit?
It is really funny that Jimmy Kimmel Live showed more moral fortitude and adherence to a system of values than Columbia University
Yes. Especially in the shallow Lake Erie, but also in the other lakes. It also allows for more erosion on lake shores that no longer have an ice buffer to protect them from winter storms
This is a main contributor to less ice on the Great Lakes. An extended summer season lets the lakes retain their warmth. Even when it cools off, they can’t dissipate heat fast enough to take advantage of the still cold winter season. Ice simply forms later, remains less thick, and breaks up faster
Being taught something new is a good way to start a Tues morning - even if it is obscure etymology

"Dead as a doornail" dates back to at least Shakespeare, who used it in "Henry IV Part 2: Falstaff Boogaloo" (1596).
By the time of Charles Dickens' "Christmas Carol" (1843), the idiom was well-worn, so that the narrator ponders what the phrase even means.
What the heck even IS a 'doornail'?

I noticed that Josh Allen has a profile in IMDB. It says he’s born in Firebaugh CA, is married to Hailee Steinfeld, and for career is a Talent Agent. Interesting thing to highlight in my opinion

Definitely. I always remember Peters for longevity, but forgot how damn good he was for so many years with the Eagles. So may first and second All Pros
Who from that team would replace the current Bills position parallel? Not too many. Jackson as RB2, Moorman as punter, Evans over Coleman, Williams over Daquan Jones, maybe Whitner over Rapp, McGee over White. Not too many more…
Overnight thoughts on #Bills game. One, I like the development of Moore and Shavers. Becoming role players in this offense and can be counted on for 4-5 catches (combined) per game. Two, Bills could really use a rested and effective Hoecht. Pass rush needs some help badly. Solomon ain’t cutting it
#Bills did not play their best game by a long shot. But it also shows that they are still such a good team that they can put up 30 points on crummy nights, while waiting for their opponent to make just one mistake to capitalize on. Miami had a good game plan, but they just aren’t the better team
Great play by Bernard. But doesn’t excuse the complete lack of pash rush, late safeties, and allowing probably a half dozen 3rd and longs by #Bills defense
Has there been any pressure from the line? Rousseau has been invisible. And against half backups
And the stated alternative is that measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella should all be given separately. How much reluctance will be caused simply by parents not wanting to subject their kids to 4 separate shots at once?
And upon walking home from the kids bus stop, a monarch on the same patch of zinnias. Lots of butterflies around here
An orange sulphur butterfly on a zinnia. Making the most of this Minnesota early fall heatwave
Small things that irritate you nonetheless: When your trashcan is on the curb for pickup. And people throw their bags of dog sh** into them AFTER the trash has been collected!
Really glad Dorian Williams is on this team. But let’s hope no other LB get hurt
Damn, CBS just switched the #Bills game to the ‘more competitive’ Rams-Titans. Kinda sad
