I'll probably do an updated version of this article now that the game is officially released outside of Japan, but if you're curious what Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga even is, I've got you covered as of a couple of years ago.
It's new to me: Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga
Ys vs. Sora no Kiseki, really, because this fighting game crossover between two Falcom JRPG franchises hasn't been officially released outside of Japan.

We've put together a new feature comparing Final Fantasy Tactics, The War of the Lions, and The Ivalice Chronicles covering the incredible RPG across platforms going over differences, visuals, load times, and more to help find the best version for you: www.rpgsite.net/feature/1859...

I spent the last week combing through reports and speaking with analysts about where EA's studios and most well-known franchises will likely fit under its new owners - and how that massive debt will potentially influence the way EA handles them

While there are many shows in the next anime season to start yet, I'm watching a few from the previous one that I couldn't add to my weekly anime sessions. Clevatess has one of the best worldbuilding among them and some cool characters.

I've been asked a few times about how to get into Atelier, so I put together a little something on what makes it stand out as a cozy RPG series and some different angles in (many of which are in the Steam sale atm). My main goal is hopefully explaining why you might want to check it out!
Where should you start with the Atelier JRPG series? This cozy, witchy, crafting series is one I'm always eager to share with more people
Atelier is a long-running JRPG series that can be intimidating, but getting cozy with its witchy vibes is anything but once you finally jump in

With the release of Digimon Story: Time Stranger & its user numbers starting out VERY strong on Steam, I'd like to remind everyone that it was developed by Media.Vision, who also worked on The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy earlier this year.

2025 has been an incredible year for them.

Glad to see people playing the game and I hope more can have the chance to see how good it is

digimon story: time stranger is off to one of the best starts for a single player JRPG in steam's history re: concurrent users

- more than all single player FF games
- more than all Persona games
- more than all Dragon Quest games

the only turn based JRPGs that have had more are metaphor + e33
over 48k CCU for digimon story time stranger time stranger is the 13th most popular JRPG ever on steam already, and the 3rd most popular turn based

I second Mikhail here when he says that Steam Deck is the way to go for Time Stranger. It looks amazing on PS5, but considering you will want to manage your farm and grind a lot, it is a Steam Deck game for sure

Baby Steps starts as an elaborate shitpost before slowly revealing itself to be a sincere game about male insecurity. A deconstruction of the kind of idealized picture of manhood that video games helped create wrapped in a terrific slapstick comedy. My review. www.polygon.com/baby-steps-r...

I tend to watch the animations in the first 10 hours of a trails games (and whenever a new character appears) but by the final boss I’m always skipping them. I do try to watch the animations of my favorite characters every time tho just to show them some love
