It's funny, not funny. My Southwestern Ontario small town got its very first ever Chick-fil-A about 6 months~a year ago. Before that, the closest one was in Ohio. But, people started boycotting it before the Trump tarrifs because they knew the Cathy family are a bunch of bigots.

I have to stress how highly unusual it is for the most powerful military on the planet to be blowing up random boats in international waters.

I can’t help but feel that several criminal charges will ultimately come from these strikes.

It makes far more sense to interdict them.

It's an insult to every American. And, you're right, it's your history. I'm devastated for you all.
I was in my teens in the 80s, and as a young teen, I believed in Reagan's shining city on a hill. I wanted to BE a US citizen. I've revered the US forever. I'm so sorry this is happening.

NEW YORK – New York Attorney General Letitia James is encouraging New Yorkers to submit videos or other documentation of federal immigration enforcement actions in New York following yesterday’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raid on Canal Street in New York City.

“Every New Yorker has the right to live without fear or intimidation,” said Attorney General James. “If you witnessed and documented ICE activity yesterday, I urge you to share that footage with my office. We are committed to reviewing these reports and assessing any violations of law. No one should be subject to unlawful questioning, detention, or intimidation.”

Attorney General James is asking New Yorkers to share photos or videos of federal government actions using the Office of the Attorney General’s new online portal.

While we spectate on The East Wing being torn down, it isn’t just another hallway, it’s where Eleanor Roosevelt built the modern Office of the First Lady, where WWII bunkers were hidden, and where the public enters the People’s House. Erasing it is rewriting history.

By a 2-1 opinion, the Ninth Circuit just held that the president can federalize the National Guard forces and deploy them when protesters shine flashlights in the eyes of ICE officers. It’s one of the most dangerous and legally flawed court decisions I’ve seen this year. 1/23
