In The Need for Dandelions, both Galen and Sasha had siblings.
Galen had a younger sister and two younger brothers, while Sasha had one older sister that he was extremely close with and looked up to.
NfD takes place 17 years after a plague, so unfortunately, none of them are around anymore.

Work the night shift at a blood bank as a lab tech
Taught myself Japanese, but I’ve forgotten much of what I once knew

I write fantasy that takes place in a queernormative world (meaning a world where being queer is normal and accepted).

🌼have left you felt belittled, but I really hope that you hear me out. Your art is beautiful, and you do seem to try to add alt text. But this kind of take comes off a ableist, even if you are a disabled person yourself.

🌻It may not be that people are refusing to interact with art without alt text, though some may, it may be that they literally cannot interact with it. I know that the tools are not perfect, but I don't think that refusing to try and use them at all is the answer. I am sorry that past discussions 🌼

🌸that extra step and add it in, but it is opening a gate that is otherwise closed for visually impaired folks. Even if you forget and do it afterwards in a comment, that's fine. It's better than not doing it all all. I doubt that it's your intent, but this take is just as ableist. 🌻

Adding alt text helps to make art and other posts accessible to visually impaired/blind users. That's the purpose. You posting something like this comes off as though you only care about disability rights if they are for a disability that affects you. I understand that it can be a headache to take🌸
