I also don't get the "Hitler thought we were all Nazis, that's why he created/modelled/etc. ____ [ergo this is somehow reflective of what the US/world actually was at the time]" argument; Hitler, famously *very wrong about a lot of things*! He was wrong about the entire war and ate his gun over it!

but a lot of the top doctors (at least here in LA) don't even take ANY insurance!

my wife was in an accident and needed a laminoplasty and the first referrals she received for a neurologist AND a neurosurgeon were both like "nah we don't do insurance"

the surgeon wanted $50,000. up front.

The US never fought to end fascism anywhere. They joined the war because Japan forced their hand, and they saw a great way to make money. After the USSR pretty much had pushed Germany out of eastern Europe and they knew the nazis were going to lose, they jumped in.
