Trump announces he's putting a bajillion percent tariff on China

It has just been learned that China has taken an extraordinarily aggressive position on Trade in sending an extremely hostile letter to the World, stating that they were going to, effective November 1st, 2025, impose large scale Export Controls on virtually every product they make, and some not even made by them. This affects ALL Countries, without exception, and was obviously a plan devised by them years ago. It is absolutely unheard of in International Trade, and a moral disgrace in dealing with other Nations.

Based on the fact that China has taken this unprecedented position, and speaking only for the U.S.A., and not other Nations who were similarly threatened, starting November 1st, 2025 (or sooner, depending on any further actions or changes taken by China), the United States of America will impose a Tariff of 100% on China, over and above any Tariff that they are currently paying. Also on November 1st, we will impose Export Controls on any and all critical software.

It is impossible to believe that China would have taken such an action, but they have, and the rest is History. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

It’s existed for 8 years solely from user donations. We reach or get close to meeting the donation goal every month & there’s a bit of a buffer. So as long as people throw a dollar or two their way when they can it should keep chugging along for years to come

Another thing you can try if breathing is a good focus is to do a moving meditation. There’s good videos online for karate and other martial arts katas, and the nice ones should tell you when/how to breathe during the movements.

The temple I went to did karate and taichi for beginner meditation.

It’s unfortunately hard to explain without sounding like a Jedi, since a lot of the word choice and translations into english got borrowed for star wars, so figuring out how to describe stuff can have translation issues due to culture context.

It’s not a mess up.
The brain is a wonky mix of only semi understood chemical reactions. Stuff pops up outside your conscious control all the time in it.
So it’s about letting the thoughts pass without getting stuck or letting the emotion move your brain to do stuff before you can think about it.

For constant thoughts, focus on counting your breaths or use music as a focus point.
If that doesn’t work the other way is to instead visualize thoughts as bubbles floating past or ripples on a pond’s surface.
Your brain thinks a lot of thoughts that aren’t you, so leave em separate
