Made a little “skeleton witch” Halloween costume set for my friend’s 3-year-old! 🔮🦇🧙‍♀️
Assorted costume garments displayed outside, made from black fabric with iridescent pieces appliquéd on top. Everything has a spooky yet whimsical vibe Close up on the tote bag, with hand done typography appliquéd on it!

Making a spooky skeleton Halloween costume dress for a 3-year-old. Going to use this vintage ric-rac trim on the pockets, and it has cutest packaging:
wip tiny skeleton dress bodice “presto she’s neat and dainty” If you mail them ten cents they’d send you off cuts for dolls! That’s so cute

Writers should internalize Lao Tzu's lesson about how the emptiness at the center of a wheel is what makes it useful, and how a pot is valuable because of where the clay *isn't*. Corporate geek culture has warped us into thinking that negative spaces are flaws that need to be fixed.

Can't stress this enough: nobody fucking cares what he was up to
Warner Bros. has said The Hunt for Gollum is in fact the first of two new Lord of the Rings feature films from Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, and Philippa Boyens based on J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle-earth, as the company aims to make more of the franchise. With The Hunt for Gollum, we’ll get to see what Gollum was up to in the years between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.

Something I put together a couple years ago when I was working on multiple different projects that needed feathers
Multiple screenshots of a sphere with feather type shapes simply stuck onto it. There are multiple types of vertex normal projections put onto the feathers showing different methods for smoothing them

I'm playing Sorry We're Closed right now and I love the art; the run animation does an especially great job at conveying personality! Feels like someone running who kinda hates it and is going "ughhh" the whole time (especially from behind)

Okay so I don’t hate actually *using* it BUT I feel like I have to look up and re-learn how to use certain features every time I use them

Yet another beast 💙
An acrylic painting on cream paper. A quadrupedal creature rests on a blue and tan rocky clifftop. The creature’s pale body and long tail contrasts against a dark sky.

Did some fanart of my 1.6 Rimworld colony "enjoying "recreation" :P

(they're all a bunch of modded Xenotypes to try to do a motley found family playthrough but they all hate each other because it's Rimworld lol)
Drawing of colonists from the game RImworld enjoying a poker game, but actually they're just all fighting. Featuring lots of fun alien xenotypes like Venators, Nereids, and Slimes!

Some painterly bottles, everything is fully opaque, using cubemaps for fake transparency.

Been considering doing something similar for feral city cats (they started using my beds as litter boxes >:( ); this is a good point haha

My first assignment as a junior writer was the emails + news articles in Batman: The Enemy Within. I built out the world, deepened characters, + rewarded players with branched text that reflected their choices.

In-game text can make the world feel like a handcrafted love letter, or a chore list.

using AI just to make the "unnoticable" textures is stupid. making the unnoticable textures is one of the best bits. making stupid jokes on in-game billboards. putting crappy effects over eachother til it looks good. drawing squiggly lines to make something look less flat. all of this is fun
