Wiltshire has made the top ten for solar farms🌞- brilliant to see the county playing its part contributing to electricity generation. With more farms in the pipeline, we may even rise up the table.

Living through drought and wildfires in Australia during 2019, I realised that we, humans, had caused this. Becoming a grandmother cemented the need for me to do something to protect their future. Only the Green Party takes climate crisis seriously.

To prevent future flooding we can’t keep building defences taller and higher. It needs reconnecting rivers to their floodplains, restoring wetlands, and planting woodlands to intercept rainfall. Nature is essential and needs protections to protect us.

Rather than investing in our recycling industry – which could create 5,000 jobs, as well as having an environmental benefit – the UK is dumping more and more plastic waste on other countries.

It’s shortsighted, it’s irresponsible, and it’s immoral.

Covid is on the rise. If possible stay outside or in well ventilated areas. Open windows and ask for ventilation at workplaces, schools and hospitals.
Wear a mask if you have covid, please don’t spread the virus. We all deserve clean air.

Polanski expertly dismantling the "rich people will move if we tax them" narrative, while Denham nimbly demonstrates how very patriotic such people are.

Former Head of Comms for the IEA, Annabel Denham, says the super rich will leave if we have a wealth tax.

Yes, the very same IEA that brought us Liz Truss’ disastrous mini budget. 🤦🏽‍♂️

Well done to all the brilliant local councillors who have lowered the speed limits their roads to 20mph - often in the face of much hostility.

There is now irrefutable evidence to show your bold decisions are saving lives.

Thank you!

NEW: Home Office announces planned new anti-protest powers, mainly aimed at pro-Gaza protests like those for Palestine Action. Police will be able to consider the "cumulative impact" of repeated protests and potentially order that they be relocated.

“Ministers are to give police new powers to target repeated protests, aimed particularly at cracking down on demonstrations connected to Gaza, the Home Office has said.”

They’re enabling a genocide and silencing opposition. This is authoritarianism.
