Sounds like you matched his energy, so well done.

I think it's a fine answer. The question was odd.

Conditions were too good tonight, with clear skies and a late moonrise, to not chase the Milky Way. It was definitiely worth the trip. Pigeon Point Light Station State Historic Park, 10/11/2025. (Tech notes: Nikon D850, 22mm, f3.2, iso 800, single 20 sec exposure)

I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.

The Real AnatomyMoths. A new series I haven’t shared with you yet. They will be turned into stickers, 20x20cm prints and if my budget lets me: wooden pins!
These are the first 4 ones, hope you like them!

I repotted a plant, put a hook up, and promptly got distracted by a video game for 4 hours.

So we had last Christmas back with our kiddos, and they have all the ornaments I made for Christmas 2022-3.

I have to go to IKEA & get a smaller tree for this year. This was last year's.
A small artificial Christmas tree, in the corner of a white-walled wooden-floored room, festooned with red baubles, assorted handmade ornaments, candy canes, & white lights. Red packages wait underneath.

For years our Christmas was multicolored lights & my grandmother's handmade sequined felt ornaments. My pinterest was full of this sort of look, so when I had to start again I went with it.

Marvellous Minoan clay vessels made by creative potters on the island of Crete during the Aegean Bronze Age around 3,500 years ago! 🤩

From the Aegean Bronze Age, Minoan clay vessels with black handpainted decoration.on a pale biscuity-coloured slip

Halloween horrors! Lunch today: spagh-rat-ti.

In honor of our new country, I made a moose head. It was fiddly, I think I will only make this one.
A tin ornament in the silhouette of a moose head rests on a teak tabletop. A tan string loop goes from antler to antler. A small pair of grey scissors is in the upper right corner. The horns took a lot of time & care to cut out, I am not sure I will make more of this design.

One benefit to us waking up super early this morning was Saturday Croissants that were still warm from the bakery.

I have a full day of playing plant Tetris on the Large Windowsill, as Fall arrives.

Years ago I would spend a week planning for coziness in Fall & Winter. Finally I can do it again.

Some of the most remarkable lost artefacts from the ancient world were the titanic wrecks of the Nemi ships, built for a Roman emperor.

In their first-century heyday they held gardens, palaces and baths in a floating wonderland. But barely a decade after their recovery, they were lost forever.
Onlookers queue up to view the excavations of Caligula's ancient Roman vessels, known as the Nemi ships 1932.
