Not to ruin anyone’s day, but if you take even a cursory glance at Gavin Newsom’s early life and privileges, and at the ways he made his money and his family connections to other prominent hated Democrats, the idea that he’s going to win over middle America is laughable. Completely ridiculous.

The problem with left-leaning media is they're intrinsically more strict with their propaganda to only using verifiable sources so it's really hard to poke holes in their ideology and arguments in comparison to a lot of low quality rightwing content.
That makes attacking their points with fact checkers not very effective unless the fact checkers use misinformation tactics as well.
In essence people on the right have to work harder and more creatively to push their agendas as statistics and studies frustratingly arent usually on our side.

No institutional design can overcome a lawbreaking president, a Congress defending lawbreaking and forfeiting its own power, a Supreme Court that pretends legal text doesn’t count to facilitate lawbreaking, and a citizenry that votes for all that.
Need at least one that wants rule of law. Maybe two.

- Instead of molasses I added 1tbsp of maple syrup. The real stuff, not Mrs Butterworth's.
