this goes into the Weather Underground stuff and obviously a lot more, and i'll say i couldn't stop thinking about the MOVE bombing -- we know what the government does to Black "terrorists" and their families so the ending feels pat in some ways

the race stuff, the way it used immigration as a backdrop (benecio del toro innocent), the historical allusions that veer away from the racist reality, the tone never being quite serious or zany enough, felt wishy washy on the surrealism...idk lol

When I help my friend Mohamed, I'm not giving him charity. The situation in his life is devasting compared to mine. But I want him to survive because even though he's in Gaza he's part of my community. We became good friends long ago when he reached out. Help him now with this treatment he needs.
