title, we had an all-hands meeting today where Diego Pasini (new management) assured us that there would be no more layoffs, and that we're all receiving a 10% raise.

Near the end of my shift I get an email saying I'm gone and everything immediately shut off, didn't have time for a goodbye to my team members of over a year.

The firings, like a few days ago, appear to be completely random and not targeted toward any specific employee.

From an hour ago, with a post title that's just the word welp.

Then an image of an email from TutorHR reading:

Hello

hope this message finds you well. l'm reaching out with an important update regarding your employment offer with xAI. After a thorough review of our business needs, we have, unfortunately, decided to rescind the offer of employment that was made to you, and it will no longer have any effect. At Harpers Ferry, staff flagged more than 30 signs, according to a person familiar with the matter and documents reviewed by The Post, that highlight information potentially in violation of Trump's policy. They include signs referring to racial discrimination and the hostility of white people to people who were formerly enslaved.

The most frightening thing about our crisis is how the roots and the causes and truths are glaringly obvious and those in charge refuse to see it.
