It is disgraceful and unforgivable how the western governments supported and “normalised” this.
The world will never be the same again. Anyone who allowed or supported this can STFU about caring about humans or peace.

The word MEANDER comes from Maiandros, the Greek name for a winding river in Turkey.

Over time this word has meant: confusion, to wander aimlessly, a winding passage.

I love it, b/c the river & the word make me think of a dotty old man's path as he wanders around the house looking for his keys.

The Menderes River in Greece, the source of the word Meander. A picture of a river not a straight line but running left to right and back again, like a squiggle from an infants pen. It is surrounded by green fields.

Six weeks ago, I picked up a year-old tawny owl with a broken leg off the main road near our home and dropped him off at our nearest vet.

Better to have sufficient & appropriate tax 4 Public Services. Norway/Sweden etc -higher taxes, but better funded pensions/welfare help/healthcare.
Reform not the way to go! They don’t care for those fallen on hard times.They’re divisive w multiple mistruths playing to xenophobes/racists.
