You're mixing up John H Sununu the former Governor of NH (who is 86) with his son John E. Sununu the former US Senator (who is 61). John E. is the one who may run for Senate (again).

Neither should be confused with Chris Sununu, John E.'s younger brother who was also Gov of NH until last year.

So these posts are very obviously not written by Trump (my guess is it's Miller).

The reference to "under my standing authority" makes me doubtful that Trump is individually authorizing these strikes. It's Miller + Hegseth picking targets and giving strike orders, likely w/o Trump's knowledge.

Under my Standing Authorities as Commander-in-Chief, this morning, the Secretary of War, ordered a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel affiliated with a Designated Terrorist Organization (DTO) conducting narcotrafficking in the USSOUTHCOM area of responsibility — just off the Coast of Venezuela. Today following outreach from @thejusticedept, Facebook removed a large group page that was being used to dox and target @ICEgov agents in Chicago.
The wave of violence against ICE has been driven by online apps and social media campaigns designed to put ICE officers at risk just for doing their jobs. The Department of Justice will continue engaging tech companies to eliminate platforms where radicals can incite imminent violence against federal law enforcement.

And if he can't beat Mills in a primary he's honestly a much weaker general election candidate than you want going against Collins

I have really no horse in this race, I think Platner is actually probably pretty strong in Maine, but this idea that everyone should just bow out so the anti-incumbency forces can have a senate seat as a treat is bizarre.

The messaging from the organizers has been stressing peaceful protest. Maybe the Bessent/Duffy/vizier crowd just see it as an opportune TV hit topic to jockey for position with some virtue signaling towards Trump's grievances/insecurities. He's traveling so he's gonna be watching a lot of Fox.
