The one thing the internet has been good for is getting me to meet people. Between twitter and some old forums I was a member of, I've met like 50 people that I'd never have known and had some amazing experiences. Most people are incredibly kind and gracious and that gets proven time and time again.

There was a Southwest Airlines reality show years ago and on one ep, a kind, old woman repeatedly got denied boarding bc she was drunk. They talked to her at the bar and she was nervous bc the last time she flew decades before, the plane crashed and folks died. Anyway, Mariners ALDS Game 5 soon.
