This was happening under Obama the Deporter-in-Chief. And because we didn't stop it then, the problem has gotten worse
I went to immigration court in Seattle to observe the kids docket. These children, some as young as three years old, are expected to understand complex legal processes and represent themselves in court.

That’s not due process.

Disgusting thing to run while ChatGPT is telling kids to kill themselves
No, ChatGPT is not conscious. Are the journalists who keep writing these fucking articles?

Wow it really is just like God.
OpenAI says they aren't liable for the suicide of a user their chat bot urged to kill himself because suicide is a violation of the TOS
Additionally, OpenAI argues its not liable because Raine, by using ChatGPT for self-harm, broke its terms of service

This is by far the worst Super Bowl hype song I have ever heard and yes I am aware We’re the New York Giants exists.
Never saw this before in my entire life but the toothless and painfully unfunky “New England, The Patriots & We” that aired nonstop on V66 left a bad taste in my mouth. Berry The Bears!: youtu.be/HEOj-IoIgXo?...

The Tommyknockers, and it has to be true to the book, I don’t care if it’s 14 hours long and absolutely sucks.
If you were a despotic president, what movie would you force Hollywood to make? I want to see Quentin's Star Trek movie or maybe Kill Bill Vol 3.

Daniel Craig performances are like my children; please don’t make me choose which one is “better”
I have long posited that Daniel Craig's accent in Glass Onion is better than Knives Out because in Knives Out he is trying to do a real Southern accent and is bad at it but in Glass Onion he is just talking like Foghorn Leghorn, which is something a real gay Southern weirdo would do.

I watched both Clerks and Mallrats in a (different) theater in a college town and it was a great time both times. I’d imagine this wouldn’t have been nearly as much fun seeing either film in a multiplex with a bunch of older adults

Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.

The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.

Christmas is coming, and the Black Friday sales signal we’re in peak gift-buying season.

When you’re picking out gifts for friends and family this year, there’s a whole slew of tech products that are better to avoid. I put together a guide to help you through it.

I was idly watching the YouTube video with all the Star Trek openings on a lazy weekend. Lucy was sitting with me (she’s only seen TOS) and she screamed 10 seconds into Faith of the Heart

these polls might as well be asking “which of these people have you heard most about in the news lately”; that’s essentially what this is measuring
New Hampshire - Democratic Presidential Polling:

Buttigieg: 28%
Newsom: 24%
Harris: 6%
Pritzker: 4%
Booker: 4%
Shapiro: 3%
Klobuchar: 2%
Beshear: 2%
Whitmer: 2%

dropping a top 100 comedy movie article during baseball HOF ballot season should be punishable by trebuchet
The movie listed at #1 is so incredibly misplaced that it calls into question the veracity of the entire list. It belongs on the list, yes, but SO MUCH further down. An absolute, credibility-wrecking flub. Boo, @variety.com! Boo!
