My publisher’s been very patient. I’m not doing everything I said I’d do to promote this book (out in a few weeks) because I’m an organizer in a city under federal attack. My days are full and emotionally exhausting. Any help getting the word out means a lot. It's a book people need right now.

Primaries are there for a reason. I'm not interested in "vote Blue no matter who" especially as its given us people like Fetterman. Push to make Democratic candidates better or replace them.

I have ended many friendships due to racism or ableism or other moral lines they would cross and not change their minds on. I don't speak to my own father anymore for the same reasons. I don't understand folks who can't take the same principled stand.

federal agents have targeted the rideshare driver waiting area at the o'hare airport on 3 separate occasions over the last 10 days, including twice since saturday.

today, at least 20 agents blocked the exits and demanded drivers show ids.

dozens of people have been abducted—11 on saturday alone.

On Monday, October 20th, ICIRR received confirmed reports of ICE and other immigration enforcement agents targeting ride share drivers at O’Hare Airport’s “Delta Lot”. At least 20 agents have been spotted shutting down the exits of the lots and demanding IDs from drivers. Multiple people have been detained.

Please take precautions and avoid the area if you can. Remember: you have the right to remain silent, the right to ask for an attorney, the right to refuse to sign anything, and the right to speak with the consulate from your country of citizenship.
