As @amflynn.bsky.social quite rightly pointed out, why are we paying an increased carbon tax, or one at all so... Is it not polarising? I've no problem with it if it's ring-fenced for such initiatives, but if we're paying for it to be pissed away. Well then... MM has questions to answer.

I have been saying this for years. We sold it off in the 'good times' and pissed it away. You're damn right, but as usual, it's always incentivise the private sector to fix our problems while they complain about not making enough of a profit. God the crash radicalised me.
