seems like a non-insignificant percentage of rage against the machine's fanbase are young republican men driving SUVs bopping their head to anti-oil, pro-immigrant songs thinking the lyrics are about how they wish their suburban parents would get off their back

Everything he's reported to have said in this BBC piece sounds like he's desperately trying to distance himself, knowing that the connection is real and toxic. If the press were investigating Farage with the same enthusiasm they went for Rayner, he'd be done for.

Sad to hear that Diane Keaton has died aged 79. She starred in The Godfather trilogy, Father of the Bride, The First Wives Club, The Family Stone, Finding Dory & Book Club.
