Marwan Barghouti will apparently not be released.
1) Israel keeps him to avoid real negotiations toward two states.
2) Hamas fears he will marginalize their one-state-or-kill butchery.
3) He would quickly replace corrupt PA leaders.
3) Trump clueless about who he is.
No one is actually for peace.

Fun Fact: no President of the United States has “plenary authority.”

The Constitution was written and structured to avoid EXACTLY THAT!!

People who publicly state otherwise violate the oath of office and should be removed.

They are incompatible with the idea of fealty to the Constitution.

The Aust Parliament Sports Club (the one that ditched David Pocock) is now formally registered as a lobby group👇🏽

Anthony Albanese is the President of the Aust Parliament Sports Club.

That means the Prime Minister of Australia is currently the president of a lobby group.

Just utterly unbelievable.

How does any of that negate the fact that the Prime Minister is the sitting President of a registered lobbying group (Sept 22, 2025)?

The circumstances of his office bearing are not at issue, nor is the fact that it is customary. It's irrelevant

Pocock being reinstated is also irrelevant to that

Here's my primer on Americans: they're weird, and usually think they are the only country in the world.

Here’s a primer on ‘primer.’

It’s pronounced ‘PRIMM-er’ if you mean “a small book” or “a short informative piece of writing.”

It’s pronounced ‘PRY-mer’ if you mean “an initial coat of paint.”

When normal people get a ceasefire agreement they think "Good, this means we can finally stop fighting and killing." Whenever Israelis get a ceasefire agreement they go, "This means we have to hurry up and kill as many people as possible before it takes effect."

The Black Summer bushfires cost Australians over $50 billion.

As we enter another high-risk bushfire season, we shouldn't wait for the next disaster to act.

The Government could put a climate disaster levy on gas & coal exports to help pay for the damage.

Add your name: theaus.in/fossilfuelco...
Make fossil fuel exporters pay for the damage they are causing, not ordinary Australians
Climate change is making natural disasters like fires, floods, heatwaves and drought worse, costing Australians billions every year. Make fossil fuel producers pay a climate disaster levy to help pay...

Yep, Glencore was founded by an actual criminal, Marc Rich.

"In 1983, Rich and partner Pincus Green were indicted on 65 criminal counts, including income tax evasion, wire fraud, racketeering, and trading with Iran during embargo," WP.

He was pardoned by Clinton in 2001, on his last day in office.

We're paying over half a billion dollars to prop up criminal-created global miner Glencore's Mount Isa copper smelter ... for just 2 years!

And we're taking how much ownership, for all that money? Don't answer that.

False. He was loud against continuing to admit digital unless WGAE fixed governance to avoid exodus of dues-heavy freelancers to West, which would have collapsed our union. He then served on the committee to solve this so digital organizing might continue. Digital reps serving on panel will confirm.

Apart from helping Comey's selective prosecution defense, this also means the president of the United States uses direct messages on Truth Social to communicate with cabinet officials.

I didn't know that, but we can be sure intelligence agencies all over the planet already did.

I love that we live in a world where we're all supposed to now praise Trump for his peace-making and ignore the fact that at least 20,000 Palestinians have been killed on his watch, with bombs & bullets - & rhetorical support! - that he supplied to Israel.
That's all erased now.

Steel and aluminium manufacturers are feeling the effects of high gas prices driven up by exports.

Australia Institute research shows gas exports have TRIPLED Aus gas prices and DOUBLED electricity prices.
