the actual story here, which the media never talks about, is that police in this country have become a discrete right-wing political operation. the story isn't about cops leaving (they're lying about that), it's about the police trying to exert influence over elections.

The American car industry lobbied hard enough to kill the expansion of high speed trains in America and many places in the USA are designed for driving; not riding a train, biking or even walking. They see all carbon-cutting as anti-business and trick people to be against it.

For what it is worth, I can firmly say I never once had a "child molestation" phase as a teenager.
