Getting a Nazi tat is a mistake you make once, keeping a Nazi tat is a choice you make every day

if you want a taste of the moral character of the Old South, Hammond was elected senator *after* it was revealed that he had raped four of his nieces as children.
And even among big slave owners it wasn't limited to slaves en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_H...
Guess that makes sense lol
I do kinda buy the claim that they Croatia was so fash circa 2005 that a random tattoo parlor would have Nazi symbols on the wall but like, if that was all there was to it the story would end with him getting it covered up by a less awful tat once he sobered up
Yes? Like it’s not that obscure as far as such things go. Plus the bad guy in one of the new Wolfenstein games is named after it.

This is what our government is trying to force Ukraine to accept
"I abducted a child from Mariupol and brought him into my family."

Russia's Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights, Maria Lvova-Belova, has admitted guilt in a war crime - the abduction of Ukrainian children - for which the Hague court issued a warrant.

The hardest thing about being good isn’t untangling complex moral dilemmas, but holding to simple principles consistently and unyieldingly, despite the world constantly insisting you would be savvy to abandon them
yes but after the war it was abolished due to the Junker complicity, the hope was to destroy the very idea of the Prussian aristocracy

Say what you want about Janet Mills but I'm confident that she doesn't have any Nazi tattoos without even having to check.
Yeah like I can believe “I was blackout drunk in a country that is apparently full of fascists and got a tattoo I didnt understand at the time,” but what I can’t believe is that he didn’t get the thing removed or covered up after he sobered up

"It's actually Prussian" is the same as "it's actually an Eastern peace symbol" in that every person who says that is totally giving the game away
Not to "ackshulky" you but it has a far older history than that. It goes back to the Prussian and other German militaries. (The Hessians wore such a motif during the Revolutionary War). The Nazi's in Germany didn't come up with it but that association stuck kind of like the Swastika itself.
There is a reason Prussia was abolished after the war
How the hell do you not know the deathshead as a so called ww2 nerd?

There's something remarkable about how many different ways Trump is establishing that his second term is a total, blatant discontinuity in legitimate government in the US.

We will get our Republic back, but this has been pure legitimacy vacuum from Day 1, and it'll get worse before it gets better.

$40 billion to Argentina’s right-wing government.

The entire USAID budget was $34 billion.
ARGENTINE PESO COLLAPSES TO RECORD LOW — DOWN 99.8% SINCE 2009
you’ve changed quite a bit
I’m sorry
I love to kitbash and as a result metal is my enemy. I work with it when I have to, but I don’t like to. Sawing through metal is so much harder than plastic or resin.

Pepperidge Farm remembers when the dumbest amongst us defended Wagner co-founder Dmitry Utkin's SS tattoos as "neoliberal propaganda" so no, I can see a lot of people excusing this one
