Okay, here's a few Con survival tips with #MCVegas coming up that will probably help newbies out. This is far from complete, but it is meant to cover the basics.

1) Have a comfortable backpack/messenger bag that you can fit everything in, plus swag that you pick up on the Con Floor (1/10).

about the growth of discriminatory threats, violence, and coercive harassment
online. am concerned, however, that this bill is premature. Our first step should
be to determine if, and to what extent, existing civil rights laws are sufficient to
address violations perpetrafed through algorithms. To the extent our laws prove
inadequate, they should be bolstered at that time.

Honestly, it needs to go further than this.

We need to confront the fact that democracy and wealth hoarding cannot coexist. Allowing people to amass the resources of a small state/country allows them to act as such, which is inimical to a shared society of “one person, one vote.”

You don't have to judge Columbus by the standards of today. His tenure as governor of Hispaniola was so horrific that he was dragged back to Spain in chains to answer for his many crimes.

Plus he never set foot on any land that would ever be a part of the United States of America.
