Ambiguity exists in real life and no one can handle it. People can barely handle ambiguity existing in fiction. If your fave does something bad it was clearly for a secretly good reason we just aren't privy to. If someone you hate does something good it was clearly an op or an accident.

There has never been ANYTHING to gain by trying to claim and embrace "antifa" for ordinary people who are (obviously) anti-fascist. To the extent that "antifa" means anything (beyond what it currently is, a right-wing slur/bogeman) it refers to a tiny tiny subculture.

Exactly! They've been denying Jesus entrance all along, but by carrying the monstrance to the gates, they make it VERY OBVIOUS. They prominently and solemnly escorted Jesus through the streets of Chicago for the purpose of comfort to the faithful and the secular authorities turned them all away!

Fundamentally if you want the situation in I/P to change and you *don't* want all Jewish Israelis either murdered or ethnically cleansed then you need to see a cultural shift in Israeli society, and that starts with engaging with the Israeli left. That's always going to be my position.

Cameroon my country has its presidential election this coming Sunday. The 92 year old president who has been in power 42 years is running again for a 7 year term. The only people who think having an authoritarian in power is "fun" have never lived under dictatorship. He will likely "win" again.
