I would agree that the DSA has a lot in common with the Knights of Columbus, in that they're predominantly a religious social club that conceptually likes unions but is mostly committed to halting social progress.

A lot of people who opposed JCPOA at the time eventually did an about face and acknowledged that Obama did in fact achieve what they claimed they wanted but Schumer hasn't because he has an underlying, and genuine, belief thar Israeli political priorities are the same as America's. This is batshit.
In the uncomfortable position of thinking most criticisms of Schumer are unfair but he still has to go because I think he’d be a poor opposition leader if we invade Iran and indeed his opposition to JCPOA should have kept him from the job to begin with.
