It's so exactly what I was hoping the follow-up to Hollow Knight would be like, and sets a new high bar. It feels like what the 2D platformers I grew up with were always striving to be.

Silksong is such a masterwork, I don't even think most reviewers who loved it truly grasp how monumental it really is. The 2D gameplay feels so natural & fluid, but quietly innovates interactions in ways your brain accepts as perfectly natural even though most games' mechanics don't work this way.

I don't think regular people understand of how bad it is when SCOTUS issues blatantly unconstitutional rulings because of its current pro-Trump, "fuck it" bias. By law, every other state & federal court is bound by Supreme Court precedent, while SCOTUS itself isn't. The law becomes "Trump wins."

I used to get mad when people misused "decimated" to refer to things that weren't 1/10th destroyed, but I've given it some thought and now I've done a complete 360 on it
