It's not like you'll need to show her off Or tell your friends about her. You're looking at bare minimum. She's basically a houseplant." "And when I'm done with her?" The dealer looks apologetic. "We don't do returns. But resale should be no problem. That's the great thing about used girls. There's always someone else Who wants to use them." "I'll take her," you say, Not bothering to take my hand As I step off the platform. I could hear it all, of course. But I smile anyway. I get that everyone thinks it's a funny little joke when Trump says nonsense about "trangender for everybody" (because really, wtf does that even mean?), but I gotta say that as a trans person, I find it absolutely fucking insane that he's constantly obsessing over trans people existing. It sucks.

I see pieces like this a lot, often w/ a spin of lamenting cultural degeneration, but reading is a LABOR issue, it’s declined because so many people are working overtime or two jobs & employers expect after hours work. France has Earth’s highest reading rate b/c long lunch breaks & labor protections

I came across the idea recently that TLC had invented the term scrub as a derogatory term for a person. It's actually surprisingly old.

i don't mean to single out baseball fans here, because you see this in lots of fan communities, but in certain corners people talk as though baseball is real. they think all the players are real people and the stadiums are places you can actually visit. to each their own, but that cannot be healthy
